    Within 48 hours, The Carolina Chef team will respond with availability, seasonal menus, and pricing. Once your booking is confirmed and menus are selected, you can sit back and look forward to an unforgettable dining experience.

    On the day(s) of your booking, your personal chef will source the best local ingredients from nearby markets before arriving at your home or rental to start cooking.

    While your meal takes shape and Chef Sarah shares her wealth of food knowledge, our team will maintain a tidy and organized kitchen. You and your guests can relax and relish a memorable culinary experience from start to finish.

  • Absolutely! Chef Sarah and The Carolina Chef team are well-versed in catering to a wide range of allergies. As you select your menus, Chef Sarah will work closely with you to choose menu options that align with your dietary needs. Creative alternatives will be provided when necessary. Rest assured, you are in capable hands with The Carolina Chef team.

  • Our day-to-day services primarily cover the greater Charleston area, including Folly Beach, Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, Kiawah Island, downtown Charleston, Daniel Island, Mount Pleasant, and Edisto.

    We frequently provide services in Hilton Head, Edisto, and Savannah. In addition to our local personal chef services, we offer travel chef services that can take us anywhere in the country.

    We're also prepared to travel globally for special events.

  • Personal chefs specialize in smaller, more intimate events with a focus on creating immersive dining experiences. They often arrive at the event location directly from the market and prepare the entire meal from start to finish in your kitchen.

    Caterers, on the other hand, are equipped to handle larger events, such as weddings, and may use offsite kitchens to prep for their events.

  • To secure your desired dates, we require a signed contract and a 40% deposit.

  • We take pride in sourcing high-quality, local ingredients. Our seafood is procured from Mt Pleasant Seafood and CudaCo on James Island, and we use Marsh Hen Mill and Charleston Favorites stone-ground grits. Local rice from Carolina Plantation is a staple in our recipes, and our vegetables come from local farmers and are purchased at local markets.

  • We aim to provide everyone with an exceptional dining experience, so we often use alternative proteins prepared in a style similar to the main menu. We work closely with you to ensure that all your diners, regardless of their dietary requirements, enjoy an exceptional culinary experience.

    Chef Sarah has deep experience crafting vegan and plant-based meals, and can work with you to create delicious alternatives wherever needed.

  • Yes! We now offer bespoke tablescaping services. Inquire about these services when you book, and we can design your table to match your event theme or your personal style.
